Society of Beer Drinking Ladies have hosted a few parties over the past 5 years. Over 50 events if we’re counting. From beer dinners to bevies to lady beer fests – and those are just our own events! So you know you’re in good hands. We put in the work to ensure our attendees will have the best time!

1. Come solo or bring your #ladybeersquad
Community is our #1! Our events are great to attend with a group of friends (we’ve even hosted bachelorette parties!) but it’s also cool to come solo. So many people have made lifelong friends at bevies. If you’re a bit nervous about coming solo, why not volunbeer? You’ll meet a ton of like-minded beer lovers!
2. Great selection of craft beer, cider, spirits plus more!!!
New to beer? Not sure what you like? There is something for everyone! And our friendly volunbeers love to chat about the brews we’re pouring. We usually have a bevy brew made specifically for the event – talk about exclusivity! Plus our vendors know that our attendees want variety and interesting liquid so we often have one offs and rare brews. We also understand not everyone can drink beer! So we LOVE options – we always have some cider and options for our gluten-free pals.
3. Support lady-owned businesses
From our food vendors to our artisans market to our entertainment, we love supporting lady businesses. Shopping at our Artisan Market is the perfect pairing with your beer. We’ve hosted everything from jewelry to pins to beauty goods, you’ll never know what treasures you’ll scoop up. Plus our lady-owned food vendors will have the best offerings to keep you fed and going all night!
4. Comedy, tarot reading and cabaret – oh my!
We love to separate ourselves from the other beer fests and bring some unique entertainment. We partner with local, lady-owned acts featuring everything from comedy to music to burlesque to fire spinning! Your ticket includes the entertainment we have curated, so check out the schedule and watch as little or as much as you want!
5. Drinkin’ for a Cause
Since day 1 we’ve been proud supporters of The Canadian Women’s foundation, and a portion of proceeds from every event goes to their programming! Plus you can toss your tips into the yellow CWF buckets and help us raise even more for this fantastic foundation. We’ve raised over $45k to date!
6. Morning-After Bags!!!
We know that the morning after following a beer fest is a struggle, so we’ve taken care of you with our signature morning-after bags. They’re full of necessities to make the next day a little easier – including beer! Seriously don’t forget this goody bag.
Whether it’s your first bevy or your fortieth we know you’ll have an amazing time with us. Our events are welcoming, inclusive and safe spaces for woman-identified folks. We are trans, queer and non-binary friendly, and are always working to make our events the best beer parties in Toronto (and Hamilton & Ottawa!).
