Inspired by Christmas Cake, Chinese 5 Spice and the cultural mash-up of Scarborough (Common Good’s home), we took a classic German dark lager recipe and combined it with the addition of dried Tangerine Peels and Star Anise. This dark lager has pleasant aromas of tangerine, citrus fruits and roasted malts with subtle spice notes. It is mirrored on the palate with sweet toffee and tangerine flavours complemented by slight hints of anise and licorice that linger nicely after each sip.
Star Appeel is now available in the Common Good bottle shop by the can, in very limited quantities.
